Privacy Policy
This is the short version, because there isn't a long one. We clean windows. We don't run an ad network, we don't sell anyone's information, and this website collects almost nothing on its own. Here's exactly what happens to your information when you visit yurfavrit.com or book a cleaning.
What this website collects on its own
Nothing you type. There are no forms on yurfavrit.com. The "Email" and "Call" buttons just open your own mail or phone app. The only things this site records are the standard analytics described below.
Booking through Square
Online booking runs inside a widget provided by Square (Block, Inc.). When you book, Square asks for your name, email address, phone number, the service address, and anything you type in the notes field. That information goes directly to Square, not to this website. Square then shows it to us in our Square dashboard so we know where to go and how to reach you, and Square sends you appointment confirmations and reminders by email and text on our behalf.
Square is responsible for how it handles data inside its own systems. Its privacy notice for customers of Square sellers is at squareup.com/legal. Square may set its own cookies inside the booking widget; those belong to Square and are covered by its notice, not by anything we control.
We use your booking information to do the job you booked and to contact you about it. That's the whole list.
Calls, texts, and email
If you call, text, or email us, we keep your message and contact details so we can reply, schedule, and follow up on your cleaning. We don't add you to any marketing list, and we won't send you promotional texts or emails unless you specifically ask for them.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they look at, roughly where they're located, and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_* to tell repeat visits apart. It does not see your name, email, or phone number, and it cannot see anything you type into the Square booking widget, which loads in its own separate frame.
We've turned off the Google features that would use your visit for advertising or combine it with your activity on other websites. Google keeps individual visit data for up to 14 months; after that, only anonymous totals like monthly visitor counts remain.
We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends either signal, Google Analytics never loads on this site. You can also block analytics with your browser's cookie settings or Google's opt-out browser add-on.
This site is served through Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, request time, pages requested) for security and performance. If we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, it works without cookies and doesn't fingerprint your device.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or trade personal information to anyone.
- We don't use advertising pixels, retargeting, or data brokers.
- We don't share your information with anyone except Square (to run bookings) and Google and Cloudflare (to run the website), as described above.
- We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Our customers are homeowners and businesses.
How long we keep it
Booking and contact records stay in Square and our email for as long as you're a customer, plus whatever we need to keep for tax and bookkeeping purposes. If you want your information deleted sooner, email harvey@yurfavrit.com and we'll remove what we're able to. You can also manage or delete the profile Square keeps for you through Square directly.
Changes
If we ever start collecting more than what's described here, we'll update this page and change the effective date at the top before we do it.
